Hi, I'm Rachel!
bay area family photographer,
mother of three, wife to my best friend in the world, and generally a gal that enjoys the simple things. A deep breath of fresh air, a cup of coffee with a pal, a good dance party in the living room with my kiddos.
I'm known for my laid-back nature and I carry that into my work. You can expect a midwestern warmth, thanks to my roots, that puts everyone at ease.
My goal as a photographer is always to make you feel appreciated for you who are and then to reflect that in the photos we create together. I really want you to see your heart reflected in the gallery that's delivered to you.

That's why extended and classic sessions include a personal phone call, styling and home prep guides, and a custom photo book filled with every image that's also delivered in your online gallery. This way you feel confident going into our session, and have a tangible way of viewing your memories so they don't end up rotting in a file somewhere on your phone.

If you like the sound of looking back on a dreamy Saturday morning with your loved ones in 20, 30, even 50 years, this session is for you.
You get an entire morning to just be.
We'll hang out, drink coffee, and roam room to room, inside to outside, all while capturing each precious moment.
This session is the most detailed, yet the most relaxed, allowing us to document each personality.
Starting at $2,250
my goal is to capture the real you
First, I get to know you before we even step foot in the same room. When I know your story, I can more accurately capture it through the camera. You'll fill me in on how things have been going as of late, what interactions to look for, and lots of other little details that are helpful for me to get a more full view of who you are.
Secondly, during our session, I like to let the kids have a little bit of control. Getting to choose which room we go into or what activity we do next generally goes a long way in me earning their respect. When they feel cared for, parent's have an easier time relaxing and letting their guard down in front of the camera. Everyone wins.
I'll run the show so you can focus on just being present with your people. This is the formula for capturing the real stuff.
